During summer, when roof temperatures climb toward 70°C the temperature in living spaces climbs with it. The SolarArk SAv10w is designed to ventilate roof cavities during these hot summer days using solar power. As your roof cools, so will the rest of your home! Extracting enough air can reduce roof temperatures by up to 30°C and living spaces by 6°C.

The SAV10W features auto thermostat functionality to turn on when temperatures reach (approx) 25°C or above and turn off when temperatures go below (approx) 24°C.

SAV10W Exhaust Fan Further Information

Like Solarark’s previous models, the SAV10w harnesses solar power to reduce the heat in roof cavities. It features a poly silicon PV panel which powers a 10 watt DC motor. It’s housed in a powder coated steel shroud and includes a built-in thermostat.

Making sure your roof has adequate ventilation has flow on benefits for the rest of your home. Not only does it bring the temperature down to a more comfortable level, it also protects your roof space from mould growth. Solarark’s range of roof ventilators are effective air movers.

The SAV10W extracts 1122 m3/hr, which is the equivalent of around 11 whirly birds. Like the other models in the Solarark range, this vent costs nothing to run.
