The popular Fanco Sanctuary now features a 70″ diameter with three handcrafted timber blades. The blades are solid timber and have been coated in a waterproof sealant ensuring that they can be used outdoors (undercover), as well as in a coastal location. In operation, this fan exhibits a reversible 38w DC motor that offers a choice of 6 speed settings.
Please note: This fan includes two extension rods 125mm & 250mm.
Recommended for installation on ceilings with a minimum height of at least 2.7m due to the longer than standard ceiling to blade drop of 447mm (with 250mm rod) & ceiling to blade drop of 322mm (with 125mm rod).
The fan should also be positioned to allow a minimum of 70cm clearance between the tip of the blades and the walls, edge of roof or ceiling beams. If you are installing this fan outdoors, you must allow 1.5m between the tip of the blades and the edge of the roof under any circumstances.

The Fanco Sanctuary is a 70″ (1778mm) ceiling fan featuring 3 stunning handcrafted timber blades in a balck finish. The blades are solid timber and have been coated in a waterproof sealant ensuring that they can be used outdoors (undercover), as well as in a coastal location. This means that you can enjoy the beauty of a solid timber fan in your outdoor area. The Sanctuary uses an energy efficient DC motor, is controlled via included 6 remote control and is reversible for seasonal use.
This model utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
