This Revolution 2 DC model uses only 30w on the high speed, whereas the AC model consumes 48w. The airflow is also higher on the ‘high’ speed, with the DC version producing 15,633 m3/hr over the 12,717 m3/hr produced by the AC model. This is approximately a 22% increase, whilst using almost 38% less energy. The Hunter Pacific Revolution DC ceiling fan has excellent energy efficiency without sacrificing on its air movement, a great fan for both stylish indoor areas and for cooling undercover outdoor entertaining areas.
This model utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
