Why Choose the Horizon Ceiling Fan With DC Motor?
The 64″ Horizon DC Ceiling fan is operated by a hardwired wall control with six speed options. The controller is hardwired to both the fan and and to power, eliminating the need for batteries and the possibility of losing the remote.
Wall controlled fans are a popular option for families with small children, landlords and business owners for settings where more than one person needs to control the fan.
Please note that the wall controller requires a specific and accurate hole size in the plasterboard/gyprock. Please view the Fanco Recommended Installation Guide for more information. As the face of this wall controller is 85mm square, if you are replacing a standard sized wall control you may need to patch the hole or install a blank plate and install this controller next to it. We would recommend discussing with your installing electrician prior to purchasing to determine suitability.
This model utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
