This Heat Transfer Kit is designed to transfer warm (or cold) air from one room to four other rooms in your home. It includes a plastic centrifugal Inline fan. These heat transfer kits can be a great energy—and cost-saving solution when you have a room that contains a heat source, such as a heater or open fire, that produces excess heat. This excess heat can then be spread to other rooms to avoid waste. It is excellent for winter to take the chill out of the air.

This kit is for DIY installation unless you choose to add hardwired accessories (e.g., a thermostat), which will need to be installed by an electrician.

Heat Transfer Kit Information

These heat transfer kits can be installed DIY, which is relatively easy. However, some handyman skills are required, such as making holes in plaster, etc. If you are uncomfortable or familiar with this, you may want a professional to install the kit. An electrician is needed to provide you with power to the inline fan (or provide you with a power point) and switch. If you intend to install a thermostat, you will also require an electrician. The fan comes with a lead and plug included, therefore it can be plugged into an available power point which an electrician could install independent of the system installation.
